We started LUCCIARELLI because we were tired of paying a luxury price for a mediocre product.
The eyewear industry is dominated by one conglomerate. They own the brands you grew up admiring. They manufacture in the same factories, at similar costs — and sell at wildly inflated margins.
We went directly to the craftsmen. We commissioned our own moulds. We chose Mazzucchelli acetate over cheaper alternatives. We hired a lens specialist from a Swiss optics lab. We did all the things the big houses used to do — and stopped doing when they went public.
